We have had more rain again this morning. We have the passing fast moving showers that are leaving the pavement wet in northern Loudoun County, Montgomery County. Right now the showers are coming into Howard County, out of Frederick County into Carroll County. Walking to the metro or walking to work, some of the pavement will be wet there. In the mid 70s. Sunshine breaking out. Partly cloudy in the afternoon. Dry walkways, but hot. Temperatures in the upper 80s, so dress accordingly. Warning towards shenandoahns i here. But look at this line coming in. Just about everybody is going to be getting significant rainfall across our region. The heaviest now, down around fredericksburg. Look at this coming in to Southern Maryland, d. C. Ive been tracking this storm here, just south of warrenton. No warnings yet, but ive had my eye on this one. A lot of lightning and very heavy rain. And these storms here, back towards culpeper county, have just started to form. This whole line coming through d. C. In the next few hours. What can we expect from these storms . We have the lightning, and amelia has a look at what else we might be getting. The sunshine welcome relief for everybody this afternoon, but thats helped to fire up the thunderstorms, and theyre not moving that quickly and they have with them some very heavy rain.
