Complaints arise about trash left by homeless at Mecklenburg County building

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A recent article in Forbes Magazine reveals Charlotte was in the top 10 for America’s cleanest cities.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t problem spots.
Some are right in the middle of the Center City. Some people say the Hal Marshall building is overloaded with trash coming from a homeless camp nearby.
“Trash, trash, trash,” custodian William Pegram said.
Pegram works as a custodian for a cleaning company contracted out by the county.
