Rathmore Pantomime Group are sitting out 2021 but will be back on stage in 2022 even bigger and better next year.
With a long history under their belt it was a difficult decision as they had hoped to do something but the new restrictions but paid to any hope.
The loss of the annual pantomime to the community is felt by everyone. People are saying I never thought I d miss it. It is very seasonal the group wouldn t meet during the summer but then they would start rehearsing in October. New members would join and everyone would become friends. They bond together and there is massive camaraderie between the group and then it would break up until next year said long-standing member of the Marian Players Val Moynihan.
