Culdesac in crofton. A relative of the suspect had called police for help because he was threatening to harm himself. Police forced their way inside and encountered the 21yearold man at the top of the stairs armed with a rifle. The suspect then pointed that rifle at an officer, and the officer at that point was forced to fire his weapon at the suspect. Reporter Police Confirm there was a woman inside the home. She did not let police in and she was not being held against her will. Police say they have been called to this house before for incidents relating to the man that was shot. One neighbor questions why police shot the suspect. It kind of shocked me that the officer shot so fast and acted so quickly.
