Montana celebrated Homecoming in style, exacting some revenge on Portland State to improve to 4-0 on the season. The Grizzlies ran away from the Vikings, scoring 36 of the final 38 points to run away with a 53-16 Big Sky Conference win.
The season got off to a perfect start Saturday as Montana rolled through the Northwestern State Demons 47-0 on a hot day inside Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
The annual two-day event occurs at the end of August and helps welcome the new crop of University of Montana students back to town by bringing them together with local Missoulians to hear great music.
The decision would allow bison to graze seasonally in three locations and year-round in three others — including two that are already approved for bison. The seventh location would remain open only to cattle.
