Foggy out there this morning. A Death Investigation underway in northeast nebraska. Law enforcement officials are investigating a suspicious death the discovery came after a vehicle fire. Shortly after 3 oclock, yesterday afternoon, pierce fire and rescue responded to a vehicle on fire nine miles west of pierce. Firefighters with the Pierce Fire Department worked to extinguish the fire, and saw human remains in the cab of the pickup. The Nebraska State Patrol and state Fire Marshalls Office were called to investigate. A state patrol lieutenant said that the pickup was in the middle of a field and they believe human remains were inside the smoldering vehicle. Investigators are allowing some time for the fire to burn itself out so they can go through evidence at the scene. Investigators have released the cause of a deadly fire in spencer, iowa over the weekend. Stephan kim, channel 7 Eyewitness News. Thank you, stephan. Developing right now, a father is under arrest, accused of killing his baby boy. Now, the childs mother reveals a shocking tale to police. The couple lives in the morris park section of the bronx. The woman says they buried their infant son outside of a motel in brewster, Putnam County. Eyewitness News Reporter lucy this story. Lucy . Reporter well, lauren, it is a heartbreaking story here the bronx. A 51yearold father has now been arrested and charged in the death of his 2monthold baby boy. Police tell us the savage killing happened here in their apartment on bogart avenue in the bronx. Investigators tell me it happened back on december 10. The baby was crying, as 2month olds will do.
