Anything and tonight as the Camden County man is sentenced his family is still maintaining hes innocent. Sporting a new short haircut instead of his long ponytail david d. J. Creato entered a Camden County courtroom for sentencing in the 2015 death of his son threeyearold Brendan Creato of haddon township. Creato made a plea deal with prosecutors weeks before his second trial where was to start in december admitting to aggravated manslaughter. He said he deprived brendan of oxygen but didnt say how. He lied to the police. He lied to his parents. Worst of all he he lied to brendans mother who certainly had a right to know exactly what had happened to her son. Reporter a 14 minute video was played showing dozens of photos from brendans short life. It was silent. Court rules dont permit music. Outside right now we have a clear start to the day and we are going to see sunshine early on as we look at our Wonderful Sky line here on this saturday morning, but even though we will start the day out relatively quiet we will watch for a stray shower later this afternoon and then again the sun filled skies early in the day will give way to cloud cover, from time to time later this afternoon. 57 degrees here early on this saturday morning with winds out of the west at 8 miles an hour. That will pick up throughout the afternoon we had a cold front that came through last night and on the back side of that we will get breezy. Watch for this to turn and be more northerly wind this afternoon maybe gusting as high as 20 to 25, maybe a few spots close to 30 miles an hour. So a breezy day, nonetheless here. Condolences to the family. Its a sad thing. But when one has had such a stellar life and one has made the contributions, its a celebration, its a celebration that we need to thank god for and need to thank the fact that god sent them here so they could be this bright and shining star for all to see and many to follow.
