Two Pullman residents were booked into the Whitman County Jail after county deputies found 12 ounces of methamphetamine along with other drug-related items in a home on NE Terre View Drive.
60-year-old William Gerena Ortiz and 50-year-old Nadine Reiber were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, according to a press release from the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office.
The charge is a Class B felony and can result in up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $25,000, according to the Washington State Legislature.
Deputies from the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant Monday evening after receiving information about possible drug trafficking. In the home, deputies found methamphetamine, packing materials, scales and several hundred dollars in cash, according to the press release.
