Flames engulfed the popular tourist town of lahaina in west maui. Reports indicate the town is completely destroyed. The fire, one of three, sparkedtuesday that quickly spread across the dora. We drove past a couple of small fires on the way down and a lot of downed trees. So a little bit of a disaster zone kind of like something from a movie. A lot of smoke. Fast moving flames forcing residents to scramble to safety. This includes 14 who were rescued by the coast guard after jumping into the ocean to escape the smoke and flames.
