I am sure a number of you in this room know more about grants military career, particularly after taking this course, than i do. The second caveat relates to i am riding a book on the presidency of ulysses s wri ting a book on the presidency of ulysses s. Grant for the university of cambridge. Instead i would like to raise a few points to how to look at grants presidency. First to historiography. I will be very brief about that.
