Estados Unidos sanciona a 34 compañías por nexos con China, Irán y Rusia | El Mundo | DW

La medida prohíbe a las empresas estadounidenses exportar o transferir bienes a las organizaciones sancionadas. El gobierno de Estados Unidos sancionó el viernes (09.07.2021) a 34 compañías por su supuesta colaboración con los abusos de derechos humanos contra la minoría musulmana uigur en Xinjiang (China), y/o por facilitar exportaciones a Rusia e Irán. En un comunicado, el Departamento de Comercio estadounidense anunció la inclusión de esas compañías a su Lista de Entidades, con lo que prohíbe a las empresas de ese país exportar o transferir bienes a las organizaciones sancionadas. Catorce de las 34 compañías afectadas tienen sede en China y, según el Departamento de Comercio, son cómplices en la campaña de Pekín de represión, detención masiva y vigilancia con tecnología de punta a los uigures, los kazajos y los miembros de otros grupos minoritarios musulmanes en Xinjiang .
