meanti meantime, one has to wonder if any of the fallout from donald trump s words or inference or lack there of will stick. gosh, you keep thinking something s going to do it, right? whether it s a mexican rapist or that coward john mccain or mean megyn kelly. every single time we all say, god, this is the one, this is the one. and then it turns out the no apologies tour follows and donald is just smiling there like he was before. he still came out today tweeting that about carly fiorina that she has zero chance. at the same time is it not brilliant because you can see his thinking out loud, he says the more he says, the more red meat he throws out there, the more coverage and attention he gets. that s right. this is answering that age-old question what would it be like

look at the situation from russian eyes. in 1991, moscow gave up its 75-year-old soviet empire. it also gave up large parts of its 300-year-old russian empire, including ukraine. since then, its historical rival, nato, has expanded closer and closer to moscow s borders and then the west encouraged ukrainians to take to the streets and depose their president who had close ties to moscow. none of this excuses aggression or justifies putin s response, but if we re going to find a political solution in ukraine that will stick, we need to recognize that issues at stake are not personal, and that they are larger than obama s weakness and putin s paranoia. let s get started.
