across the bored or does not comport with reality. martha: let s talk about title 42 for the last minute that we have together.i think people that watch what is happening and they see everyone crossing, they say how can you say that title 42 is in place when all of these people pour across. only a quarter are turned back for title 42 at this point. here s the reason why. nicaraguans and cubans are not subject to title 42, which means you can keep people out because of pandemic and covid environment. because their countries won t take them back. neither will mexico. how does that make any sense, sir? it doesn t make any sense. the reason we have this crisis at the border goes all the way back to the very first few hours of this administration on january 20th of last year. the president signed a number of executive orders which created the pull factors, which said come on over. just talking about one thing real quick. it s worse than the facts articulated. the cartels are so strong t
unstable governments, not just in mexico but throughout central america because the cartels are becoming so enriched through drug trafficking and now through human trafficking that they re so flush with cash that they can create real true instability. it will take years to correct if we stop it now. martha: we re told the vice president was going to look at the root causes. that would be something that you d expect she s working hard on. the relationships with the leader of the country and why they re allowing the cartels to overtake their responsibilities and their ability to take care of their own people. martha: i went to central america and honduras. a third of the legislature in those countries is controlled by the cartel. a third. they do that because they have so much cash. this is a huge problem that is worse than people realize. we have to make it start and we will start january 3. martha: okay. we ll be watching.
