Grad students at the McEwen School of Architecture at Laurentian University are working on their first large scale project a bridge to be installed at Fort La Cloche, at the Heaven's Gate Trail. It's a partnership with Ontario Parks and Sagamok First Nation.

Each year since 2017, The David Suzuki Foundation has recruited awesome people from communities throughout Canada to become Butterflyway Rangers. This year, three Greater Sudbury-area residents are Butterflyway Rangers and are helping to build butterflyway corridors in Greater Sudbury.
“Butterflyway corridors create butterfly ‘highways’ to aid butterflies on their migratory journeys, and help to create more biodiversity in our city,” says Will Kershaw, Butterflyway Ranger. “Join us and other community partners who are building or enhancing pollinator gardens this year.”
