West End woman aims to raise £300k for life-saving treatment in USA A WEST End woman is aiming to raise £300,000 in order to have potentially life-saving surgery in America. Angela Gregory, 45, was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in 2018, with doctors giving her between a 5-10% chance of living five years after diagnosis. After years of treatment and chemotherapy, Angela is now fundraising to help get specialist treatment in the USA, with hopes that the liver transplant surgery could save her life. Angela said: It was a struggle for a long time with doctors telling me that there was no way it was bowel cancer because I was too young.
