Two B.C. men face criminal charges related to a Winnipeg police-led cocaine trafficking investigation that resulted in the seizure of nearly $11.6 million in drugs, money, vehicles and property.
More than $4.3 million in cash, vehicles and properties were seized in British Columbia, according to the Winnipeg Police Service, as part of the operation dubbed Project Gold Dust.

Charged from B.C. are Vancouver resident Johnny Lam, 40, and Surrey resident Wilfred Gerein, 63. Lam has been charged with conspiracy to traffick cocaine and possession of the proceeds of crime, according to the Winnipeg police. Gerein faces conspiracy charges of trafficking cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
