LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) One dog over at Natalie s Second Chance Dog Shelter is stealing hearts.
Her name is Sunny, and like her name suggests she is full of joy. Sunny isn t your average shelter dog.
Assistant Director at Natalie s Second Chance Dog Shelter, Jamie Bogan, told News 18 she is living life with a disability. She has cerebellar hypoplasia. So her cerebellum did not develop quite right.
Bogan says Sunny s disability is not holding her back. She does enjoy being outside and she can walk pretty well in the grass.

Hot temperatures can also be a point of concern for our pets.
Local vets say you should use common sense such as not locking your pet in your car. You also should make sure they have an adequate source of water.
Dr. Dave Murakowski with Wildcat Valley Animal Clinic told News 18 the heat can also be rough on your dog s paw pads. We see some pad burns, Dr. Murakowski told News 18. Not a lot. I think the dog will step away.
