Ten’s The Amazing Race topped Seven’s Holey Moley and the second night of the Australian Open on Nine on a metro basis, with 510,000 capital city viewers last night. It also led in each of the three key advertising demographics based on metro viewers.
Holey Moley sat on 469,000, while the AO grabbed 464,000 for its evening matches. Nationally, though, Holey Moley was ahead with 768,000 viewers to The Amazing Race’s 712,000, and the AO’s 625,000.
Ash Barty’s win over Danka Kovnic in just 44 minutes was watched by an average of 646,000 metro viewers, or 889,000 nationally. The pre-match coverage before the evening tennis games pulled 356,000 metro viewers.
