“Things got really slow right at the end of the ski season last year, and in the back of my mind, we had already been thinking about what do we do to reboot?” said Kori McClurg, who owns the Steamboat Springs business with her husband, Barry Sherman. “We thought now’s the opportunity since we’re going to see this low because of COVID anyway. So why don’t we jump in and rethink what Wild Plum could be?”

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. Angela Marsden was unexpectedly thrust into the media spotlight when she went viral for her fiery grievances against Los Angeles County’s COVID-19 restrictions, which prohibit outdoor dining, after an NBC comedy production was allowed to have a similar outdoor setup next to her restaurant, the Pineapple Hill Saloon.
To her, it was a clear display of the city enforcing the rules unfairly.
“Either they’re not thinking, they’re doing it intentionally, or maybe they’re not doing it intentionally, but they just are so out of touch with the middle class and the lower middle class,” Marsden told The Epoch Times.

Jessi Watson has turned his attention and is using his talent, to create ice cream for Yampa valley Ice Cream Co. Watson, who graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in aerospace engineering, could not escape his passion for being in the kitchen. He is a trained pastry chef, helped teach programs at Colorado Mountain College, and was an executive chef for a kayaking retreat in Pucón, Chile. He helped get Yampa Valley Ice Cream Co. off the ground before heading to Chili, and when he returned last spring he became a driving force in the companies current push to find wholesale and more retail markets.
