Jetflite operations now refuelling with Neste SAF Yves Le Marquand 4th May 2021, 3:50 Finnish operator, Jetflite is now fuelling its flights with Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel in a bid to offer lower-emission private aviation. Jetflite, part of Finnish industrial conglomerate Wihuri Group, specialises in business flights, group charter, and air ambulance. The company also manages aircraft and operates air cargo services. The move to SAF comes in response to Jetflite’s clients’ need to increase their contribution towards combating climate change as part of the conglomerate’s sustainability programme. In its neat form, the fuel helps reduce life cycle greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to fossil jet fuel use. The first lower-emission flight will take place this month.
