On Monday, our first award winner was Karen Robb. Karen has been putting her sewing skills to incredible use - by making scrubs for NHS and care staff on the Island. She helped to build up a team of sewers to help make vital PPE, including scrubs, hats and bags.
Our second winner was volunteer, Paddy McHugh. Paddy is used to being one of the main people involved in the Island s annual events - but COVID put a stop to that. He has been selflessly volunteering and helping people on the Island and played a vital role in the Isle of Wight Radio Christmas Toy Appeal.
