WESSEX Cancer Trust is welcoming back clients for face-to-face care, as lockdown measures continue to ease. Clients are now able to attend the charity’s four cancer support centres for pre-booked counselling and befriending appointments. Covid-safe measures are in place and visits are limited to one household at a time. Face-to-face therapies will restart in June. Wessex Cancer Trust’s head of services, Colette Cowan, said: “When the first lockdown was announced, people really needed our support and we introduced a range of remote support services. “We can’t wait to get back to our centres and have been touched by the number of people who’ve told us they feel the same.
