Isle Of Wight Athletics Community Mourns Another Sad Loss

Ray, who was very well-known in sport across the Island, died just over two weeks ago.
But now, his beloved wife, Rose, who was also a key figure in Island athletics for many years, has died at St Mary s Hospital.
A poignant tribute has been posted on Facebook by athletics coach, Nick Groocock and the Island Games Association.
It reads: It is with a heavy heart that once again I am the bearer of very sad news, on Tuesday Rose Scovell passed away at St Mary s, two weeks to the day after we lost Ray.
