Live, from the cbs bay area studios, this is kpix5 news. A man on a stolen horse leads california deputies on a wild chase. He surrenders, then, this happens. The brutal beating caught on camera. The sheriff of San Bernadino says what he did was disturbing. Reporter first it appears they use a tazer. Two of the deputies start kicking the suspect and punching him though he is on the ground with his hands behind his back. Several other deputies show up and the beating keeps going for another two minutes. This is the suspect. 30yearold francis pusar. This whole thing started when deputies went to serve him a warrant. They say he first fled in a car, then ditched it and stole the horse. They ended up in a rugged terrain environment which is why some of the deputies are on dirt bikes. The suspect went to the hospital. Tonight, his girlfriend says this isnt the man she knows. He is not the one that, you know, will come home from work and dismiss the kids. He will play with them. One friend tells me Bridget Klecker was likely headed home after dinner with a friend when a car struck and killed her in this crosswalk. It doesnt seem real. A motorcycle rider vanishes without a trace after a crash on a bridge. The motorcyclist was knocked over the side of the antioch bridge. Reporter right now it is unclear how this accident happened. According to chp they received calls of a motorcyclist speeding southbound this way over the antioch bridge, soon after that motorcyclist slammed into the back of the car. When Law Enforcement showed up this bike picture was all that was found on the bridge. Witnesses say the driver went over the bridge into the water. Now, chp shutdown lanes on both sides of the bridge. Emergency search and rescue efforts got under way. A Coast Guard Boat and a rescue boat were out on the water as a chp helicopter flew over head. Andria borba is following these developments. Reporter the antivaccine crowd is passionate about their belief and some have resorted to death threats. The chp has increased security at the State Capitol. They will discuss a bill that will make it much harder for parents to claim a personal belief exemption. The threats are against dr. Richard pan who cowrote the bill. The chp has stepped up his personal security detail because of email and facebook threats including at least one post referring to him as hitler and one that talks about hanging him from a noose.
