let s start with chris christie. we got to sit down with him. had an extensive interview with him. she talked about whether these thousands of people in new jersey were cheering after 9/11 and whether he would call out donald trump on that accusation that has been widely discredited. listen. did it happen? no. absolutely not? no. why don t you call donald trump out on this? he s doubled down. he s tripled down. what s the use? everybody knows it didn t happen. what s the use? join the cachaphony? i m about distinguishing myself in a 14-person field. not the same. to just pile? i don t see that as being useful. listen, jamie, i m trying to win this race.
rudy giuliani and say he was right. but he didn t vindicate him. however, he said that donald trump was exaggerating and pointed to mere pockets, small instances, isolated instances of this. but that s not going to matter for donald trump. he s going to say he s right in his own donald trump fashion. we saw a very different reaction from governor chris christie. let s take a look at that. okay. did it happen? no. absolutely not. no. why don t you call donald trump out on this? he s doubled down, tripled down. what s the use? everybody knows it didn t happen. everybody knows it didn t happen. what s the use? join the cacophony? i m about distinguishing myself, making myself different from everybody in the in a 14-person field, not the same. so to just pile on? i don t see that as being useful. listen, jamie, i m trying to win this race.
you have been governor in new jersey for the last 22 months. you ve only had 12 months of private sector job growth. you ve got some catching up to do with the guy who you say is not a leader. and of course, the president saved the automobile industry in this country from collapse which would have had a trickle-down effect. a domino effect that would have killed hundreds of thousands of jobs had he have not done it. republicans didn t help him out. he did it anyway. it takes guts to lead to do something. by the way, mr. christie, why don t you call bob king who is the head of the united autoworkers and let him school you up on exactly how many middle class families are still working because of president obama? he also signed health care reform. you know what that is? well, that s kids under 26 years old can still be there with their parents on their insurance policy. why would you want to deny that from young kids? also, you can t get dropped by your insurance company. and, of course,
