giuliani represents, he said president trump. why aren t the presidents supporters more disturbed by someone who is outside of the administration, who is not an elected official conducting u.s. policy instead of an official? well, you know, some clearly are disturbed by rudy giuliani. at one instance someone, nonif it was volker or sondland asked about rudy giuliani, raising questions about his role there. it s clear people aren t comfortable with the role the former may r i don t of new york city was playing as a kind of shadow secretary of state. but it s also clear that folks who are defending this president is saying this is the president. he can appoint whoever he wants to, private citizen, his own lawyer, whoever he wants to operate in this role. so, that s one of the defenses that you re hearing from folks in and around this administration about rudy giuliani s role.

aggressive or even bad faith arguments and know that by the time they re decided the sort of glacial pace of the law won t keep pace with this short of fast-paced politics of the impeachment. so, let s talk some of those arguments as you said. did you say it was sketchy? what was that? yeah, so absolutely immunity that s what i want to ask you about. they are asserting absolute immunity? is that real law? it sounds fancy. it s about executive privilege which always pertains to individual communications done for a purpose and always has exceptions to it. what they want to say is there are some people that are so close to the president that even what they have for breakfast is going to be immune. one court has decided this and said no and rejected it, but it didn t go all the way up. it was settled after. i think it doesn t hold up and
