News out of israel. Thats where a nationwide Labor Strike has started. And the largest International Airport has suspended flights. The countrys largest Labor Union called for the strikes after the bodies of six hamas held hostages were found in an underground tunnels in gaza on saturday. Union leaders hope a strike will put additional pressure on the government to reach a Ceasefire And Hostage deal with hamas. The strike is expected to last for one day and includes everything from Government Ministries to hospitals and universities. Israels main International Airport also stopped many flights this morning in solidarity. Israels Finance Minister was working on sunday to stop the strike from happening, but those attempts failed. This all coming as massive protests continue to erupt across israel in response to the six bodies recovered by the idf. One of those victims, a 23 year old israeli american.
