Bringing Up Bates star Nathan Bates is engaged to be married.

Bates confirmed the news Monday on Instagram alongside photos of his proposal. She said YES!!! I get to marry the girl of my dreams @ekeyes97, he captioned the post.
Bates sister Carlin Bates and brother Zach Bates were among those to congratulate the couple on social media. We are so thrilled for you both! Carlin Bates, who married Evan Stewart in May 2019, said on Instagram Stories. We can t wait for you to be a part of the family @ekeyes97.

The winners of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition for Maine’s Second District included students from Auburn, Lee, Lewiston and Rangeley. All were recognized for their work, with first place going to Whitney Perkins from Lewiston High School.
Perkins’ photograph, “Curious,” is to be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building alongside winning artists from districts across the country.

Competition jurors Carolyn Wallace-Zani and Teddi-Jann Covell selected the winners. Wallace-Zani is an award-winning artist who owns a Brewer studio and teaches in Bangor. Covell, an Orono painter with work in Damariscotta, Hallowell and Millinocket galleries, also judged the work.

Winning Lewiston entry to be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building
WASHINGTON This week, Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) announced the winners of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition for Maine’s Second District. Students from Auburn, Lee, Lewiston and Rangeley were all recognized for their work, with first place going to Whitney Perkins from Lewiston High School.
“I had high hopes for the submissions we’d receive for this year’s Congressional Art Competition, but the students really went above and beyond,” said Congressman Golden. “This contest is a great showcase of the insight and skill of Maine students, and it’s an annual reminder of how fortunate we are to have so many talented young artists in our state. Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you for making our district proud.”

LEWISTON Edward Little lost the war, but Mya Vincent won the battle.
By the time the No. 1 singles match started, Lewiston was already wrapping up a victory over the rival Red Eddies in girls tennis. Vincent, though, still had to duel with Lewiston senior Abby Svor.
Edward Little’s Mya Vincent hits a backhand during her No. 1 singles match against Lewiston’s Abigail Svor at the Lewiston High School courts Tuesday. Vincent defeated Svor in a match that lasted two and a half hours.
Bringing Up Bates news reveal that cast member, Josie Bates who was married a little over two years ago to Kelton Edward Balka are now expecting their second child. Josie is one of 10 girls and 9 boys, her parents are Gil and Kelly Bates from 19 Kids and Counting. Josie’s first child was a little girl, her name is Willow Kristy. Last year Josie was pregnant but miscarried the baby. Since then, she has announced that she is pregnant again and expecting in June 2021.
