Students from three classes at the Oak Hill-based Fayette Institute of Technology have worked in recent weeks on a variety of projects aimed at helping raise funds for the New River Humane Society. On Tuesday, March 30, Kathy Gerencer, president of the humane society s board of directors, visited with teachers and students at the school to discuss the projects.
