The UW-Whitewater Men’s Basketball team suffered yet another conference loss in their final game of the season, Saturday Feb. 17, to make them an even 7-7 in WIAC play (17-8 overall). The Warhawks were downed 66-58 against UW-River Falls, whom they beat by just one point last month. Trevon Chislom led the team with 18.
The No. 12 UW-Whitewater Men’s Track and Field team competed in the Midwest Elite Invitational Feb. 10, where they placed fourth among eight participating teams by scoring 64 points. Only No. 1 UW-La Crosse (170), No. 2 UW-Oshkosh (87), and No. 16 Loras College (82) scored more points than the Warhawks. The invitational is one.

Madison Smith, of Mokena, will be graduating from the University of Illinois on May 15, with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She will be honored by the university as one of 100 graduates who are Senior 100 Honorary, for academics, service and campus involvement.
