The New York state government revoked the liquor license for a restaurant after it hosted a Republican club’s maskless Christmas party, which featured a “Covid conga line,” according to NBC News.
In December, the Whitestone Republican Club continued with their annual holiday bash at Il Bacco on Northern Boulevard in Queens despite concerns over COVID-19. Footage of the party gained millions of views, showing attendees maskless in a long conga line.
At one point, GOP candidate for NYC Council, Vickie Paladino, is seen leading a dancing group. Since the party, three attendees have tested positive for COVID-19, according to The Hill.

Despite a nationwide increase in COVID-19 cases and health professionals urging Americans not to gather, some people are still hosting packed holiday parties. Last week a video of maskless individuals partaking in a conga line during a holiday party at a New York restaurant went viral on social media. Since then at least one party attendee has been hospitalized with COVID-19. Additionally, New York s State Liquor Authority has suspended the restaurant s liquor license, NBC News reported.

Several individuals who took part in a local New York City Republican club s Christmas party have tested positive for the coronavirus after a video surfaced showing attendees celebrating indoors without masks, Queens Daily Eagle reports.

The video of the party, hosted by the Whitestone Republican Club on Dec. 9. in Queens, N.Y., has gained 3.7 million views since being shared last week. It shows attendees dancing in a conga line, with a man waving a flag that reads, Trump 2020. The video features approximately 40 to 50 people.
