Police officers remained on scene to speak with surrounding businesses.
The HAWCS helicopter was also called to assist the investigation.
About an hour later, police were called to another robbery, this time in the Beltline.
A police spokesperson was unable to pinpoint the exact pharmacy but said it took place near the intersection of 11th Avenue and 11th Street S.W. There are a handful of pharmacies in the vicinity, including the Co-op Pharmacy Midtown, the Midtown Remedy’sRx Pharmacy & Travel Clinic and Pharmasave Jo’s Beltline.
Police said two males were also involved in this case, but can’t say whether they are connected.
