The New York Times (NYT) detailed Friday how the White House thought they'd manage to coverup the ongoing document scandal with President Joe Biden.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated the NBA champion Golden State Warriors at the White House on Tuesday. The Warriors have won four championships in eight years, but they didn't visit the White House while Donald Trump was president.
"The Golden State Warriors are always welcome in this White House," Biden said. He also honored Warriors superstar Stephen Curry as "one of the great sportsmen of our time."
As noted yesterday, the Golden State Warriors took a trip to D.C. to meet and get a photo op with President Joe Biden on Tuesday, to celebrate their 2022 NBA Championship win something they did not opt to do for their 2017 and 2018 championship wins while Trump was in office.
President Biden bestowed the Presidential Citizens Medal, the second highest civilian honor in the U.S., on 12 people who he said stood up for democracy in a time of uncertainty.
