TROWBRIDGE Martyr Thomas Helliker is to be remembered on Monday with the traditional annual wreath laying. The event at 12 noon is once again being organised by the White Horse (Wiltshire) Trades Union Council to commemorate Thomas Helliker. It will take place at Thomas Helliker s Tomb in St James Churchyard in Trowbridge. Rosie MacGregor, of the WHTUC, said: This year, things will be a little different because of the pandemic and lockdown. Two members of the White Horse Trades Council will lay a wreath on the tomb but there will be no ceremony and we are not encouraging people to join us.
