During the city council meeting on September 25, the council approved a contract with Whitchurch Engineering, Inc. for the fire station reconstruction project design. It also approved a motion to use the Fort building as a potential learning center for tribal education and cultural visibility activities. During public comment, a few speakers spoke up about local attorney Jacob Patterson’s excessive emails, comments, and public record requests.
