KILLINGTON — The town is working to fine-tune a recruitment package for new police officers, one it hopes will draw the best candidates in a competitive hiring market.
Christopher Campanella wound up being one of 20 guests, along with a longtime ski instructor, who’d wandered off the sprawling 1,500-acre resort, requiring a five-hour, multi-agency rescue effort to bring them all to safety.
