Whistler council has voted against appealing the recent Supreme Court decision stating that Whistler Aggregate s asphalt plant in Cheakamus Crossing is permitted to operate there. In a news release sent out this morning (Feb. 28), it was revealed that the RMOW will instead seek to work with the asphalt plant s operator, Frank Silveri, to consider improvements that would "advance the quality of life for residents in the short term and seek a longer-term solution that meets the requirements of all parties."
