MANILA - The final chapter of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army-National Democratic Front's (CPP-NPA-NDF) reign of terror has now been written off as more local government units (LGUs) have joined this administration in condemning the atrocities of these lawless groups by declaring as persona non grata in their respective localities. The United States Department of the Interior (DOI) announced this April that they will invest about $1.6 billion in 2021 “to address critical deferred maintenance projects and improve transportation and recreation infrastructure in national parks, national wildlife refuges and recreation areas, and at Bureau of Indian Education schools.” Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park and other public land areas in Wyoming are slated to see around $184 million in funding for various projects.
