BOSTON Celtics coach Brad Stevens said he wasn’t quite sure the narrative around their recent two-game skid matched the play on the court. While, yes, Boston had dropped its games to New Orleans and Dallas, Stevens said he thought the on-court product was still enough to win.
The C’s fell victim to some insane shotmaking against the Mavs and Pelicans, Stevens said. It’s not as if they lied down in a loss either, putting together late comebacks that fell short.
