inside a coffee shop south of downtown austin. witness stacy romine says the saspect randomly assaulted a man sitting at a table of regulars. en i don t even know what this guy was thinking, what his reason was. there was no altercation. ne just came up and hit this man in the head. reporter: police were called, and customers tried to stop the tspect from fleeing, but he got away. with officers in pursuit, he ran anto a neighboring burrito restaurant.elsays that s where e suspect s attack turned deadly. right now we have two stab victims. reporter: describing his officers grim discovery. once they got inside, they were able to locate two victims that had been stabbed. i can confirm that one of those victims is deceased. reporter: the deceased onounced dead at the scene. the other victim sustained serious life-threatening injuries. this is where the attack ended.c thishop
