Originally planned to debut during a weekend long launch back in January, Stockton, California’s Serious Seafood is now scheduled to begin serving fried fish and shrimp on the westside next month.
Promising, “you can’t lose with the ingredients we use,” Serious Seafood will move into a 1,200-square-foot corner space, replacing boba specialists Cool Tea at the Charleston Buffalo Plaza, a short walk from the recent sixth local expansion of Rocco’s NY Pizza & Pasta.
Located at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Buffalo Drive, the restaurant calls itself the “1st African American owned seafood place that uses no salt,” serving its seafood meals with red potatoes or French fries.
