New Route from Lafayette Airport Begins Today
IAH, DFW, and ATL are what we ve been seeing most of out of LFT, but today we can add CLT.
The first flight from Lafayette Regional Airport to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina happens later today, scheduled for a 1:35 pm departure time on a Bombardier CRJ-700. The CRJ-700 aircraft is limited to 68 passengers, a speed of 488 knots, and a ceiling of 41,000 feet, so it should get you to Charlotte quickly, and in comfort.
So, if you are interested in seeing the NASCAR Hall of Fame, a Charlotte Knights baseball game, a Carolina Panthers game, a Charlotte Hornets basketball game, or visit the Billy Graham Library, you can now do any of these things without a layover/connection.
