what all nations want from a world championships is dominance and it doesn t get more dominance than a one to three podium finish. and that is what great britain produced tonight in the women s t34100 metres bronze went to fabian andre. it was herfirst world championship medalfor great britain. kara dinnigan took the silver medal to add to her silver medal from the paralympics in 2021, and gold medal went to master of the craft, hannah cockroft. it was her 12th world championship title. here s what she had to say after her race. people expect myself and carissa to come one, two in whatever order, and that s fine. but to turn around and to see fabs, who was a little down this morning when she came fourth in the heat to see her cross that line in third. that s that s what it s all about, you know, the excitement on her face. it s just amazing. we did it in birmingham last year for the commonwealth games to come here. it s a bigger stage. we ve got more girls to race against. it s not a g

from boston near the finish line it is an exhilarating time there in boston, so much to celebrate, so much tragically to remember as well. i know it s always emotional but especially this year, what are you hearing? hey, ana, good morning to you. yeah, there is still so much excitement for marathon monday you probably hear the applause behind me. the wheelchair racers are actually wrapping up right now.n for this marathon. a lot of people are running this race, if they re not running, they re cheering on the runners. this year strikes a little bit differently. we are commemorating the ten-year anniversary of the marathon bombings. this weekend there were several programs and events honoring the victims and survivors, as well as the first responders who rushed in to help save lives we had a chance to speak with someone who was actually at the event ten years ago running the race she wasn t injured, but she says crossing that finish line still stir stirs up so many memories. take a lis
coll, 10 years old at the time of the bombings but a good friend of martin richards family, one of the youngest victims of the bombings, and he was also inspired by the courage and the strength over the years and is running his first marathon today those are the stories we re hearing on the ground, jose, the folks impacted by the bombings there was a tragic and dark time for boston, but there have been so many stories of hope and resilience on saturday it was one boston day, and ever since the bombings, that is a day where people pay it forward. share kindness, volunteer, and that is kind of the message that we are seeing here on this 10-year anniversary. folks running for folks who survived the bombings. it s incredible. things are starting to really get lively as we are welcoming the finishers. we saw the wheelchair racers coming in earlier this morning followed by the men and women close behind as you can imagine, security is tight as well. if you re here in downtown
