The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation into the death and says more information may be released later Friday. The Blaine Police Department announced that the body was found in Whatcom County Park on Semiahmoo Spit at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Whatcom County Sheriff or Blaine Police Department.
