A family claims it’s concerned for their loved one in a Nanaimo-based long-term care facility as they work with staff and Island Health to resolve some of their complaints.
B.C. s Ministry of Health says 10 more COVID-19-related deaths have been reported in the province over the last 24 hours, and hospitalizations have continued to fall.
B.C. reported 597 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, including 113 in Island Health. Of the 612 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in B.C., 102 were in intensive care. Nine new COVID-related deaths were reported, none in the Island Health region.
