Over 150 volunteers gathered Wednesday night at the Westwood Presbyterian Church for the annual Westwood Homeless Count. The count is part of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority’s Greater LA Homeless Count that took place Jan.
The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority will lead volunteers through Westwood to conduct the annual Greater LA Homeless Count on Jan. 24. Lisa Chapman, the co-chair of the Westwood Homeless Count, said the count is important in ensuring each area receives the funding needed to mitigate homelessness.

The North Westwood Neighborhood Council is the official neighborhood council advocating for UCLA and Westwood to the Los Angeles City Council. Meetings are open to the public and are held on the first Wednesday of every month at UCLA’s Weyburn Terrace.
