Hillwood plans its biggest speculative warehouse project ever in North Fort Worth

One of North Texas’ busiest developers is upping the ante in the race to build the biggest box.
Hillwood is starting construction on what it says will be its largest speculative warehouse project in the AllianceTexas development north of Fort Worth. The 1.24 million-square-foot industrial building is on Interstate 35W at Westport Parkway, across the highway from Alliance Airport.
Called Alliance Center East 1, the huge distribution hub is set to start construction in July.

A Houston developer is headed to North Fort Worth with plans for a major business park.
Lovett Industrial is working on a project with almost 865,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution space on Westport Parkway near Interstate 35W.
The industrial center is planned near the big AllianceTexas development in north Tarrant County.
The almost $30 million business park is set to start construction this summer and will open in mid-2022, according to planning documents filed with the state.
