Westport Museum for History & Culture and Westport Country Playhouse are collaborating on a micro-exhibit entitled “Music of the American Experience: Black Excellence and the Sounds of the Jazz Age,” installed in the Playhouse lobby, from April 11 through 29.
"From the Mississippi Delta" is an elaborate staging of Dr. Endesha Ida Mae Holland's autobiographical drama about coming of age during the 1960s civil rights struggle. The play is at Westport Country Playhouse through Oct. 30.
The Westport Museum for History and Culture will open later this month a new walking tour featuring stories about the history of shipping and commerce by the Saugatuck River beginning with its Indigenous people.
