Westover High 2021 graduates look to the future; parents honored for their work Ariana-Jasmine Castrellon, The Fayetteville Observer
More than 200 Westover High School seniors graduated Monday at the Crown Coliseum Complex. The graduates represent less than 6% of the more than 3,500 students set to graduate in Cumberland County in the coming weeks.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Westover High School conducted two separate graduation ceremonies, giving each student four tickets.
“I want all of you to leave here celebrating every little thing, from waking up in the morning to getting your dream job,” Valedictorian Brandon Orellana-Alcas said. “Because if you don’t live your life celebrating it no one else will.”
