Officers were responding to his home around 12 30 this morning for a domestic call. They were told he was intoxicated and armed. When the responding officers showed up within minutes they say they heard gun shots coming from inside the they noticed the front door was open. A large dog ran out. It was aggressive. They were forced to open fire hitting the dog once. Carbury became upset his dog was shot. He came to the door. Officers convinced him to surrender. They believe they found what they thought was a self inflicted gun shot wound to his police say carbury had a permit to own a gun. 2 hand guns outside. A 357 magnum and a 40 caliber.
